I think cash purses are usually based on the amount of racers registered.

and before anyone else feels the need to comment about all the pictures being in the same spot...the album is race coverage pictures. If you were in the race, there's pretty good chance I've got a decent picture of you. If you weren't in the race and are bothered by the pictures, feel free to move along.

Nice!

Maybe Rockshox should hire Push to fix that nightmare they produced called the Totem 2-Step, since they've been unable to give the owners of that fork the product they sold them on.

Actually Smoke, Dan's podium style was pretty well done. As soon as his name was called off came the jacket, repping the Cove Jersey and I've got a few shots of him looking straight into the camera and smiling it up.

It was a nasty, nasty day to even be outside let alone racing a bike down a hill. Big cheers to everyone that braved the elements and came out to have some fun.

Some pics here Clickety
Even bigger thanks to Greg and Denise for getting what I hope will be the 1st annual Arduum Challenge underway.

They're always looking for volunteers to help out with the race if you don't want to compete. It's a great way to give something back to the people who built the trail for you.

www.arduumchallenge.com and got to the contact page, or just email denise@freeridedawgs.com

You're going to want as much armour as you can attach to your body. It's steep, technical, rooty and muddy and pretty unforgiving if you crash. Combine that with this weeks weather report and I think you'll agree with my first sentence. It's going to be a fun weekend!
